Inaugural car wash to benefit students

We are excited to announce our inaugural "Give a Pencil Car Wash" fundraiser, hosted by our Student Transportation department, this coming Tuesday!

All proceeds from this event will be used to purchase school supplies for students who need them across our division.

"The Student Transportation department wanted to support and give back to our students. We believe that students need supplies to learn and be successful, and that no student should be without," said organizer Liane Gingras, who is also our Student Transportation Coordinator. "Using the facility that we already have and all the wonderful EICS staff volunteers, we are able to easily host a car wash to fundraise money to buy a variety of school supplies."

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at our Central Learning Services office, 310 Broadview Road in Sherwood Park. Please use our secondary driveway behind the building (to the east) to access the car wash.

Cost Per Car:

• Personal Vehicle: $5
• Commercial Vehicle: $10

Please note that car wash payments are cash only, and if you have any unused school supplies you’d like to donate, they will also be accepted along with your payment.
